Care: Take care handling this plant as it's leaves can be knocked off the stem with just a touch.
Grow in dry conditions in bright light with some direct sun. Shade from strong summer sun.
Protect from frost but keep cooler in winter.
Keep soil lightly moist in spring and summer.
Take care not to saturate soil when watering, soggy soil will cause stems to rot at base.
Water sparingly duning fall and winter.
If leaves appear shriveled it may be underwatered

Flowering Period: Terminal pink to red flowers in summer

Propagation: When propagating cuttings:
- Take 2-3 in (5-7 cm) stem tip cuttings in spring
- remove lower leaves to expose stem
- insert into a mixture of half sharp sand and half peat moss
- Keep moist and be patient, it can take a couple months
Propagate leaf cuttings by following same method.
